Mustard Seed Thoughts: Thank You For Reminding Me

ChristWeb.com : Mustard Seed Thoughts
Thank You For Reminding Me
By: Ron Edmondson Mustard Seed Thoughts
And He is not served by human hands, as if He needed anything, because He Himself gives all men life and breath and everything else. Acts 17:25 NIV

Sometimes, as I'm preparing a sermon or writing these thoughts, I have to be reminded that it is by God's strength that I am able. I thank you so much for many of the kind compliments I receive, but it doesn't take much for God to show me that He really could do it without me. In fact, there is nothing I do for God that He could not find someone else to do it better!

Oh, I know we enjoy serving Him, and He loves our service, but if you think about it, does God really need what we do for Him? After all, don't we serve the Creator God? Didn't He speak the heavens into existence? Isn't it Him who decides when the rain will fall? Doesn't He tell the sun when to shine, decorate the skies with the stars, hold the planets in position, and paint the rainbow when it appears?

I don't know about you, but I ge t the distinct impression that God knows what He is doing! What does He need from me? NOTHING!

But, aren't you glad God wants me (and you) in spite of it all! He doesn't need me, but He wants me! More than anything, God wants my heart to be fully and completely motivated towards Him. He wants my everything. He wants priority number one in my life. He wants to give me life and peace. He wants me to spend my forever with Him in His Heavenly home. He's invited me to take up a permanent residence among His chosen few. I'm going to the wedding banquet. My name is written in the Book of Life!

He has all the wealth, power and prestige of the world, and yet He chose me with which to spend eternity! I can give Him nothing in return, but He accepts me anyway! By the blood of Jesus, and nothing else, I receive it all!

I have to tell you, that makes me feel pretty important!

=========================== TODAY'S ARTICLE ==========================

The Partnership, by Phil Ware

"It's just lousy!"

Pretty much everywhere I turn, that's the prevailing sentiment. The
economy is in the tank. Retirement accounts are beyond depressing.
Layoffs and bad news still dribble out of a seemingly endless pipeline
of discouraging news.

Now folks are worried about the swine flu pandemic to go along with
global warming, droughts and floods, and who knows what else.

Then we go through the check-out line at the grocery store and see only
bad news screaming from every magazine cover. The world is going to end
because this celebrity is breaking up with that celebrity. Some
disaster is going to befall Hollywood because some superstar has hair
in her comb, blood on his toothbrush, or a wrinkle on his brow. Oh, and
then there is the scandalous rumor that so and so has an eating problem
and has gained a few pounds -- or wait, could it be a baby bump?

ENOUGH!

Yes, there are some very hard things happening to people right now.
Some who read this are in the middle of very hard times. Yet we have
become a culture that has been trained like Pavlov's dogs to see, hear,
and think only about the negative. The news media floods our house with
nothing but crisis, conflict, and catastrophe. The more we hear, the
more we salivate in expectation of more juicy and negative sound bytes.

We've become like the old Peanuts cartoon strip character Pigpen. Only
in our case, it is not a cloud of dust that follows us everywhere we
go, but an oppressive cloud of negativism and cynicism. So when we come
together, we can find plenty of reasons to complain and to criticize.

So I will say it again: ENOUGH!

Somewhere along the way, we have lost our sense of divine partnership
with the Father. We don't celebrate what God has done through us (Acts
14:26-28). We don't rejoice that God is present in us to "will and to
work for His good pleasure" (Philippians 2:13). We forget that we are
His salt and His light in this world of decay and darkness (Matthew
5:13-16). God is at work in us and through us to bless the world, to
work things out for good, and to use those who love Him for His
purposes (Romans 8:28-29).

When we lose this "God-perspective," this sense of divine partnership,
we begin a downward and destructive spiral:

* We worry that we have to fix things or we are a failure.

* We feel stressed and rushed to accomplish all our tasks at hand.

* We lose any sense of genuine thankfulness, and focus only on what
is wrong or what we don't have or how we are flawed.

* We don't look for God's presence in our lives;

* We ultimately divide the world in sacred and secular, limiting God
to a box and a set time each week (see last week's post for more on
this subject).

We must remember: God is at work in us, both in bad times and good
times. God is looking to partner with us in His work of redemption,
forgiveness, compassion, and holy living. There is more going on in our
lives than simply trudging through another day. God is present in us
and with us and through us. He is longing to partner with us on a daily
basis.

How do I know?

The Father has promised it! He longs to join with us in this divine
partnership and catch us up in His story of grace!

Paul could say of his ministry partners, "We are God's co-workers" (1
Corinthians 3:9 NASB) and speak of Timothy as God's co-worker, as well
(1 Thessalonians 3:1-2).

He told new believers, "... for it is God who works in you to will and
to act in order to fulfill his good purpose" (Philippians 2:13 TNIV).

Let's learn to celebrate the good things that our Father is doing
through us!

He proclaimed these words of comfort and good hope to those facing
trial:

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who
love him, who have been called according to his purpose (Romans
8:28).

No wonder the first team sent out in the name of Jesus came back from
their journey and "gathered the church together and reported all that
God had done through them ..." (Acts 14:29 TNIV, emphasis mine). They
recognized that they were in a divine partnership with God!

So let's take a little more time to give thanks for what God is doing
among us. Let's learn to celebrate the good things that our Father is
doing through us, not for our glory, but for His. When we live for His
purpose, we bring Him great pleasure, and in the process, we discover
His power in a fresh way for our day (Romans 8:28)!

LIFE Questions:
(These are questions designed for you to discuss with others in a small
group, house church, friendship circle, or share with our
Heartlight.org community on the blog. I'd love to hear from you:
http://thephilfiles.com!

What is God doing in your life?

How can you be more aware of His presence and partnership with you
in your daily life?

How can God work through you at work, school, or in your
recreational activities?

What makes it hard for you to believe that God might be at work in your
life?

How do you think Jesus, or the apostle Paul, would convince you
that God is really present and at work to use you for His glory?

Paul talked about two key elements that set us in a position for God's
work to occur in our lives: loving Him and being called to live for His
purpose (Romans 8:28).

Which of these two do you need to work on in your life?

How can you show your love for God more fully?

How can you get a better sense of God's purpose for your life?

Morning & Evening -- Numbers 14:2 and Psalms 139:17

-/\/\-----------------------------------------------------------------
\ / Charles Spurgeon's MORNING & EVENING http://www.heartlight.org/
--\/------------------------------------------------------------------

Thursday, April 30, 2009

MORNING:

"And all the children of Israel murmured."
-- Numbers 14:2

There are murmurers amongst Christians now, as there were in the camp
of Israel of old. There are those who, when the rod falls, cry out
against the afflictive dispensation. They ask, "Why am I thus
afflicted? What have I done to be chastened in this manner?" A word
with thee, O murmurer! Why shouldst thou murmur against the
dispensations of thy heavenly Father? Can he treat thee more hardly
than thou deservest? Consider what a rebel thou wast once, but he has
pardoned thee! Surely, if he in his wisdom sees fit now to chasten
thee, thou shouldst not complain. After all, art thou smitten as hardly
as thy sins deserve? Consider the corruption which is in thy breast,
and then wilt thou wonder that there needs so much of the rod to fetch
it out? Weigh thyself, and discern how much dross is mingled with thy
gold; and dost thou think the fire too hot to purge away so much dross
as thou hast? Does not that proud rebellious spirit of thine prove that
thy heart is not thoroughly sanctified? Are not those murmuring words
contrary to the holy submissive nature of God's children? Is not the
correction needed? But if thou wilt murmur against the chastening, take
heed, for it will go hard with murmurers. God always chastises his
children twice, if they do not bear the first stroke patiently. But
know one thing-"He doth not afflict willingly, nor grieve the children
of men." All his corrections are sent in love, to purify thee, and to
draw thee nearer to himself. Surely it must help thee to bear the
chastening with resignation if thou art able to recognize thy Father's
hand. For "whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son
whom he receiveth. If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as
with sons." "Murmur not as some of them also murmured and were
destroyed of the destroyer."

EVENING:

"How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God."
-- Psalms 139:17

Divine omniscience affords no comfort to the ungodly mind, but to the
child of God it overflows with consolation. God is always thinking upon
us, never turns aside his mind from us, has us always before his eyes;
and this is precisely as we would have it, for it would be dreadful to
exist for a moment beyond the observation of our heavenly Father. His
thoughts are always tender, loving, wise, prudent, far-reaching, and
they bring to us countless benefits: hence it is a choice delight to
remember them. The Lord always did think upon his people: hence their
election and the covenant of grace by which their salvation is secured;
he always will think upon them: hence their final perseverance by which
they shall be brought safely to their final rest. In all our wanderings
the watchful glance of the Eternal Watcher is evermore fixed upon us-we
never roam beyond the Shepherd's eye. In our sorrows he observes us
incessantly, and not a pang escapes him; in our toils he marks all our
weariness, and writes in his book all the struggles of his faithful
ones. These thoughts of the Lord encompass us in all our paths, and
penetrate the innermost region of our being. Not a nerve or tissue,
valve or vessel, of our bodily organization is uncared for; all the
littles of our little world are thought upon by the great God.

Dear reader, is this precious to you? then hold to it. Never be led
astray by those philosophic fools who preach up an impersonal God, and
talk of self-existent, self-governing matter. The Lord liveth and
thinketh upon us, this is a truth far too precious for us to be lightly
robbed of it. The notice of a nobleman is valued so highly that he who
has it counts his fortune made; but what is it to be thought of by the
King of kings! If the Lord thinketh upon us, all is well, and we may
rejoice evermore.

My Utmost For His Highest : "The Spontaneity Of Love"

-/\/\-----------------------------------------------------------------
\ / MY UTMOST FOR HIS HIGHEST -- http://www.heartlight.org/
--\/------------------------------------------------------------------

April 30, 2009

THE SPONTANEITY OF LOVE

Love suffereth long, and is kind ...

1 Corinthians 13:4-8
http://www.SearchGodsWord.org/desk/?query=1co+13:4-8&sr=1

Love is not premeditated, it is spontaneous, i.e., it bursts up in
extraordinary ways. There is nothing of mathematical certainty in
Paul's category of love. We cannot say - "Now I am going to think no
evil; I am going to believe all things." The characteristic of love
is spontaneity. We do not set the statements of Jesus in front of us
as a standard; but when His Spirit is having His way with us, we live
according to His standard with out knowing it, and on looking back we
are amazed at the disinterestedness of a particular emotion, which is
the evidence that the spontaneity of real love was there. In
everything to do with the life of God in us, its nature is only
discerned when it is past.

The springs of love are in God, not in us. It is absurd to look for
the love of God in our hearts naturally, it is only there when it has
been shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit.

If we try to prove to God how much we love Him, it is a sure sign
that we do not love Him. The evidence of our love for Him is the
absolute spontaneity of our love, it comes naturally. In looking back
we cannot tell why we did certain things, we did them according to
the spontaneous nature of His love in us. The life of God manifests
itself in this spontaneous way because the springs of love are in the
Holy Ghost. (Romans 5:5.)

SPEAKING TRUTH

1 Corinthians 14:13-25
http://www.SearchGodsWord.org/desk/?query=1+Corinthians+14:13-25

Dear Father, God of intelligibility and peace,

Let our praying, singing, and preaching be aimed at informing the
minds and spirits of others, that they may be built up and respond,
"Amen."

Give us the attitude of Paul, who said, "I would rather speak five
words with my mind, in order to instruct others, than ten thousand
words in a tongue."

Let us be babies when it comes to evil, but not in our thinking.
In our thinking, may we be mature, and may we speak your message in
such a way that those who hear will be called to account, will have
the secrets of the heart disclosed, will fall on their faces to
worship you, and will declare that you are really among us.

Submitting to your commands of peace and order, I ask this in
Jesus' name. Amen.

WJD! -- Take Nothing/Everything -- Matthew 10:8-10

Take Nothing/Everything

"Heal sick people. Give dead people life again. Heal those
people that have leprosy. Force demons to leave people. I
give you these powers freely. So help other people freely.
Don't carry any money with you--gold or silver or copper.
Don't carry a bag. Take for your trip only the clothes and
shoes you are wearing. Don't take a walking stick. A worker
should be given the things he needs."

-- Matthew 10:8-10 (ERV)

KEY THOUGHT:
Jesus gave his disciples authority! This is not just power; it is also
authority to use that power. But they must constantly realize that this
authority does not rest in themselves, but in the one from whom they
received it. Not only that, they are not to use this authority for
their own privilege but to bless others. In fact, Jesus gave them
everything freely, so they must share with others as he has done with
them. So Jesus sends his apostles out on a missionary journey without
even the most basic elements of a traveler -- no money, no luggage, no
change of clothes, and no extra. They are to depend upon those they
serve and upon God to provide. This missionary journey must be
accomplished and soon! No time for encumbering equipment or pretense.
The authority and provision come from the Lord!

TODAY'S PRAYER:
Generous and Faithful Father, thank you for your provision of grace,
food, protection, and capability. I recognize that the significance of
my ministry lies not in me, nor in my ability, but in your providential
grace and power. To you goes all the glory for any good that I have
done or ever will do. You are my inspiration, power, motivation, and
hero. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

Today's Verse : Philippians 4:20

VERSE:
To our God and Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
-- Philippians 4:20
http://www.SearchGodsWord.org/desk/?query=Philippians+4:20

THOUGHT:
What will we share in eternity with God? His glory! What led
Israel through the wilderness and shown upon the face of Moses?
God's glory. What is too wonderful and marvelous for us as humans
to behold? His glory. So what should we do when we are seeking to
honor God? Give him the glory that is due him. Praise him in
glorious songs. Bring honor to Yahweh's holy name by what we say
and how we live!

PRAYER:
Wonderful and glorious God, you are majestic in holiness,
patient with my imperfections, tender with my brokenness, and
emphatic about my participation in your family. Please bless me to
worthily bring praise to your throne of grace. In Jesus' name.
Amen.

Mustard Seed Thoughts: Where We Going Daddy?

ChristWeb.com : Mustard Seed Thoughts
Where We Going Daddy?
By: Ron Edmondson Mustard Seed Thoughts
On that day a great persecution broke out against the church at Jerusalem, and all except the apostles were scattered throughout Judea and Samaria. Acts 8:1 NIV

Where are we going, Daddy?

We're moving to Samaria.

Samaria? But, Daddy, that's so far from home. We don't know anyone in Samaria.

We have to go, darling. It is not safe for us here. It will be alright! God will take care of us, wherever we go!

You can almost hear the discussion now. The church was being persecuted. In these times of a great spiritual awakening, the Christians were, more than ever, under pressure to be quiet about their faith. Running for their own safety, they must have wondered why this was happening. After all, hadn't they just received the Good News?

Make no mistake about it, God always knows what He is doing! Wasn't it Jesus who told the disciples to take the gospel into Jerusalem and Judea and Samaria and to the outer most parts of the earth? (Act 1:8) How would the people hear of Jesus, unless someone went? Can't you see it was all a part of the plan?

Dear struggling Christian, right now you may be wondering what God is up to. You may even question the wisdom in your situation. Don't be moved. Stand firm in your faith! God does have a plan. Right now, wherever you are, if you are His child, then I guarantee you, you are right in the middle of that plan! He's working all things for an ultimate good.

In the case of today's verse, we only had to wait seven chapters to figure out what God was doing. Wait for Him to work His plan in your life, no matter how long it takes!

Trust Him! He'll get you there!

=========================== TODAY'S ARTICLE ==========================

Just Watch the Ball, by Steve Ridgell

I love sports. I enjoy playing them and watching them. I especially
enjoy watching three and four year olds play ball. I remember teaching
my children to play ball when they were young, and now I am watching my
grandchildren start to play ball. After watching preschool teams for
thirty years, I am convinced nothing is as cute, or as frustrating, as
teaching them how to play soccer or baseball.

An airplane passing overhead can bring the whole game to a stop.
Flowers are somehow much more interesting than what is going on in the
game. Friends must be waved at, parents must be located, and outfits
adjusted. Sometimes I wonder if they even realize there is such a thing
as a ball ... much less what its function might be. I have watched
soccer players run up and down the field for an entire game without
once knowing where the ball was. If the other kids ran, so did they. I
cannot count the times a slowly hit ball has rolled past three fielders
and not a one of them even noticed. I have witnessed powerful swings of
the bat that did not come within two feet of the ball -- and the ball
was sitting on a tee. Of course, the batter had his eyes tightly shut.

So here is my coaching advice for preschool soccer and baseball: just
focus on one thing. Do not try to explain strategy, or even all the
rules. Just teach them to watch the ball. They will learn the rest
later. If they do not get this basic principle down, they will never
learn to play well. It works in soccer. If they learn to watch the
ball, they will kick it more often. It works in baseball also. Watch
the ball and you will hit it. Watch the ball and you will catch it. It
is the basic principle in sports. Just watch the ball. Interestingly
enough, that basic principle never changes in sports no matter how old
you get.

The same principle works for learning about Jesus. If you do not know
much about Jesus and his followers, it sure looks confusing. What is
all the activity about, what are all the rules, and is there a strategy
I need to know? Let me encourage you to focus on the one thing that
really matters: Jesus. He died for the things we have done that were
wrong, he was buried, and God raised him from the dead. Focus on that
and the rest will begin to make sense. And if you miss that, nothing
else will ever make sense.

It is hard to follow Jesus when I forget to keep my eye on him.

That is still good advice for those of us who have been following Jesus
for a long time. Focus on the one important thing. Jesus.

If you would like to explore this idea more, write me at

Morning & Evening -- Jeremiah 17:17 and Psalms 149:4

-/\/\-----------------------------------------------------------------
\ / Charles Spurgeon's MORNING & EVENING http://www.heartlight.org/
--\/------------------------------------------------------------------

Wednesday, April 29, 2009

MORNING:

"Thou art my hope in the day of evil."
-- Jeremiah 17:17

The path of the Christian is not always bright with sunshine; he has
his seasons of darkness and of storm. True, it is written in God's
Word, "Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace;"
and it is a great truth, that religion is calculated to give a man
happiness below as well as bliss above; but experience tells us that if
the course of the just be "As the shining light that shineth more and
more unto the perfect day," yet sometimes that light is eclipsed. At
certain periods clouds cover the believer's sun, and he walks in
darkness and sees no light. There are many who have rejoiced in the
presence of God for a season; they have basked in the sunshine in the
earlier stages of their Christian career; they have walked along the
"green pastures" by the side of the "still waters," but suddenly they
find the glorious sky is clouded; instead of the Land of Goshen they
have to tread the sandy desert; in the place of sweet waters, they find
troubled streams, bitter to their taste, and they say, "Surely, if I
were a child of God, this would not happen." Oh! say not so, thou who
art walking in darkness. The best of God's saints must drink the
wormwood; the dearest of his children must bear the cross. No Christian
has enjoyed perpetual prosperity; no believer can always keep his harp
from the willows. Perhaps the Lord allotted you at first a smooth and
unclouded path, because you were weak and timid. He tempered the wind
to the shorn lamb, but now that you are stronger in the spiritual life,
you must enter upon the riper and rougher experience of God's
full-grown children. We need winds and tempests to exercise our faith,
to tear off the rotten bough of self-dependence, and to root us more
firmly in Christ. The day of evil reveals to us the value of our
glorious hope.

EVENING:

"The Lord taketh pleasure in his people."
-- Psalms 149:4

How comprehensive is the love of Jesus! There is no part of his
people's interests which he does not consider, and there is nothing
which concerns their welfare which is not important to him. Not merely
does he think of you, believer, as an immortal being, but as a mortal
being too. Do not deny it or doubt it: "The very hairs of your head are
all numbered." "The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he
delighteth in his way." It were a sad thing for us if this mantle of
love did not cover all our concerns, for what mischief might be wrought
to us in that part of our business which did not come under our
gracious Lord's inspection! Believer, rest assured that the heart of
Jesus cares about your meaner affairs. The breadth of his tender love
is such that you may resort to him in all matters; for in all your
afflictions he is afflicted, and like as a father pitieth his children,
so doth he pity you. The meanest interests of all his saints are all
borne upon the broad bosom of the Son of God. Oh, what a heart is his,
that doth not merely comprehend the persons of his people, but
comprehends also the diverse and innumerable concerns of all those
persons! Dost thou think, O Christian, that thou canst measure the love
of Christ? Think of what his love has brought thee-justification,
adoption, sanctification, eternal life! The riches of his goodness are
unsearchable; thou shalt never be able to tell them out or even
conceive them. Oh, the breadth of the love of Christ! Shall such a love
as this have half our hearts? Shall it have a cold love in return?
Shall Jesus' marvellous lovingkindness and tender care meet with but
faint response and tardy acknowledgment? O my soul, tune thy harp to a
glad song of thanksgiving! Go to thy rest rejoicing, for thou art no
desolate wanderer, but a beloved child, watched over, cared for,
supplied, and defended by thy Lord.

My Utmost For His Highest : "The Graciousness Of Uncertainty"

-/\/\-----------------------------------------------------------------
\ / MY UTMOST FOR HIS HIGHEST -- http://www.heartlight.org/
--\/------------------------------------------------------------------

April 29, 2009

THE GRACIOUSNESS OF UNCERTAINTY

It doth not yet appear what we shall be.

1 John 3:2
http://www.SearchGodsWord.org/desk/?query=1jo+3:2&sr=1

Naturally, we are inclined to be so mathematical and calculating that
we look upon uncertainty as a bad thing. We imagine that we have to
reach some end, but that is not the nature of spiritual life. The
nature of spiritual life is that we are certain in our uncertainty,
consequently we do not make our nests anywhere. Common sense says -
"Well, supposing I were in that condition . . ." We cannot suppose
ourselves in any condition we have never been in. Certainty is the
mark of the common-sense life: gracious uncertainty is the mark of
the spiritual life. To be certain of God means that we are uncertain
in all our ways, we do not know what a day may bring forth. This is
generally said with a sigh of sadness, it should be rather an
expression of breathless expectation. We are uncertain of the next
step, but we are certain of God. Immediately we abandon to God, and
do the duty that lies nearest, He packs our life with surprises all
the time. When we become advocates of a creed, something dies; we do
not believe God, we only believe our belief about Him. Jesus said,
"Except ye become as little children." Spiritual life is the life of
a child. We are not uncertain of God, but uncertain of what He is
going to do next. If we are only certain in our beliefs, we get
dignified and severe and have the ban of finality about our views;
but when we are rightly related to God, life is full of spontaneous,
joyful uncertainty and expectancy.

"Believe also in Me," said Jesus, not - "Believe certain things about
Me." Leave the whole thing to Him, it is gloriously uncertain how He
will come in, but He will come. Remain loyal to Him.

Praying with Paul : "Order Out of Confusion"

ORDER OUT OF CONFUSION

1 Corinthians 14:1-12
http://www.SearchGodsWord.org/desk/?query=1+Corinthians+14:1-12

Dear Father, God of intelligibility and peace,

Thank you for reversing the curse of Babel when you poured out
your Holy Spirit on believers in Jerusalem on the Day of Pentecost.

Even in the confusion of many tongues you proclaimed your Good
News to every tribe and nation under heaven, with every person
hearing it in his or her own language.

Thank you too for the gift of prophecy in the common language,
believers speaking to one another for their mutual encouragement
and consolation, a gift greater than tongues (unless the unknown
language is interpreted), because understandable speech builds up
your church.

Help us to manifest your Spirit in all things. Help us to strive
zealously for whatever builds up the church.

In submission to you and in Jesus' name, I ask. Amen.

WJD! -- The Kingdom is Near -- Matthew 10:7-8

-/\/\-----------------------------------------------------------------

The Kingdom is Near

"When you go, tell them this: 'The kingdom of heaven is
coming soon.' Heal sick people. Give dead people life again.
Heal those people that have leprosy. Force demons to leave
people. I give you these powers freely. So help other people
freely."

-- Matthew 10:7-8 (ERV)

KEY THOUGHT:
The Kingdom of Heaven is about two central things: our surrender to the
will of God and God's desire to bring us healing, peace, victory, and
salvation. We find it so very hard to believe that victory is in
surrender, but that is the principle of the Kingdom taught by Jesus all
the way through Matthew's Gospel. While Jesus is the key player in the
work of the Kingdom, he also reminds us that we have important roles to
play as well -- turning the direction of our lives around and offering
them to God to do his will is where we start. When people do that,
healing occurs at all sorts of levels -- physical, emotional, and
spiritual.

TODAY'S PRAYER:
Father, I confess that I have blocked your Kingdom from fully dawning
in my heart. I have to battle self will and my own rebellious spirit.
Yet I want to serve you powerfully and faithfully, not just to be
accepted by you, but to please you and honor you for being so gracious
in sending Jesus to redeem me. Please forgive me for my sins and bring
your Kingdom in all its fullness so all may worship you on earth as the
angels do in heaven. In the name of the Lord Jesus I pray. Amen.
