Mail me if you think we can work together.
My Dear Friend
Kufor. I work with the Standard Chartered Bank of Ghana as the Regional manager, Tema Branch, in the Accra Region of Ghana .
I have packaged a transaction that will be of mutual benefit to us. As the branch manager of Standard Chartered Bank of Ghana , it is my duty to send a financial report to my head office in the capital city, Accra , at the end of each financial year.
Following the release of the second quarter financial report, ending June 2008, I discovered that my branch made Six Million, Eight Hundred and Fifty Thousand United States Dollars ($6,850,000.00); from the transactions accruing to the account of the Inland Revenue Service (IRS). This was not detected by the renowned auditors from my head office.
I have moved the funds into what the bank call Escrow Call Account with no beneficiary. Meanwhile as you know I can not be directly connected to this money for obvious reasons. So my contacting you is to assist me receive the funds in your bank account in your country; which I know is possible if you liaise properly with me and get 30% of the total funds as your benefit.
The transfer would be made via swift and it will be a Bank-to-Bank wired transfer. All I need from you is to stand claim as the original depositor of this fund. I will compute your particulars as the person who made the deposit in my branch, so that my head office will immediately order the transfer to your designated bank Account.
Mail me if you think we can work together.
Thanks for your understanding and co-operation.
Please try and back to me as soon as you receive me mail,
Mr. Godwin Kwesi
Branch manager (S C B).

Morning & Evening -- 1 John 2:6 and Isaiah 41:9
-/\/\-----------------------------------------------------------------
\ / Charles Spurgeon's MORNING & EVENING http://www.heartlight.org/
--\/------------------------------------------------------------------
Sunday, May 17, 2009
MORNING:
"So to walk even as he walked."
-- 1 John 2:6
Why should Christians imitate Christ? They should do it for their own
sakes. If they desire to be in a healthy state of soul-if they would
escape the sickness of sin, and enjoy the vigour of growing grace, let
Jesus be their model. For their own happiness' sake, if they would
drink wine on the lees, well refined; if they would enjoy holy and
happy communion with Jesus; if they would be lifted up above the cares
and troubles of this world, let them walk even as he walked. There is
nothing which can so assist you to walk towards heaven with good speed,
as wearing the image of Jesus on your heart to rule all its motions. It
is when, by the power of the Holy Spirit, you are enabled to walk with
Jesus in his very footsteps, that you are most happy, and most known to
be the sons of God. Peter afar off is both unsafe and uneasy. Next, for
religion's sake, strive to be like Jesus. Ah! poor religion, thou hast
been sorely shot at by cruel foes, but thou hast not been wounded
one-half so dangerously by thy foes as by thy friends. Who made those
wounds in the fair hand of Godliness? The professor who used the dagger
of hypocrisy. The man who with pretences, enters the fold, being nought
but a wolf in sheep's clothing, worries the flock more than the lion
outside. There is no weapon half so deadly as a Judas-kiss.
Inconsistent professors injure the gospel more than the sneering critic
or the infidel. But, especially for Christ's own sake, imitate his
example. Christian, lovest thou thy Saviour? Is his name precious to
thee? Is his cause dear to thee? Wouldst thou see the kingdoms of the
world become his? Is it thy desire that he should be glorified? Art
thou longing that souls should be won to him? If so, imitate Jesus; be
an "epistle of Christ, known and read of all men."
EVENING:
"Thou art my servant; I have chosen thee."
-- Isaiah 41:9
If we have received the grace of God in our hearts, its practical
effect has been to make us God's servants. We may be unfaithful
servants, we certainly are unprofitable ones, but yet, blessed be his
name, we are his servants, wearing his livery, feeding at his table,
and obeying his commands. We were once the servants of sin, but he who
made us free has now taken us into his family and taught us obedience
to his will. We do not serve our Master perfectly, but we would if we
could. As we hear God's voice saying unto us, "Thou art my servant," we
can answer with David, "I am thy servant; thou hast loosed my bonds."
But the Lord calls us not only his servants, but his chosen ones-"I
have chosen thee." We have not chosen him first, but he hath chosen us.
If we be God's servants, we were not always so; to sovereign grace the
change must be ascribed. The eye of sovereignty singled us out, and the
voice of unchanging grace declared, "I have loved thee with an
everlasting love." Long ere time began or space was created God had
written upon his heart the names of his elect people, had predestinated
them to be conformed unto the image of his Son, and ordained them heirs
of all the fulness of his love, his grace, and his glory. What comfort
is here! Has the Lord loved us so long, and will he yet cast us away?
He knew how stiffnecked we should be, he understood that our hearts
were evil, and yet he made the choice. Ah! our Saviour is no fickle
lover. He doth not feel enchanted for awhile with some gleams of beauty
from his church's eye, and then afterwards cast her off because of her
unfaithfulness. Nay, he married her in old eternity; and it is written
of Jehovah, "He hateth putting away." The eternal choice is a bond upon
our gratitude and upon his faithfulness which neither can disown.

My Utmost For His Highest : "His Ascension And Our Union"
-/\/\-----------------------------------------------------------------
\ / MY UTMOST FOR HIS HIGHEST -- http://www.heartlight.org/
--\/------------------------------------------------------------------
May 17, 2009
HIS ASCENSION AND OUR UNION
And it came to pass, while He blessed them, He was
parted from them, and carried up into heaven."
Luke 24:51
http://www.SearchGodsWord.org/desk/?query=lu+24:51&sr=1
We have no corresponding experience to the events in Our Lord's life
after the Transfiguration. From then onwards Our Lord's life' was
altogether vicarious. Up to the time of the Transfiguration He had
exhibited the normal perfect life of a man; from the Transfiguration
onwards - Gethsemane, the Cross, the Resurrection - everything is
unfamiliar to us. His Cross is the door by which every member of the
human race can enter into the life of God; by His Resurrection He has
the right to give eternal life to any man, and by His Ascension Our
Lord enters heaven and keeps the door open for humanity.
On the Mount of Ascension the Transfiguration is completed. If Jesus
had gone to heaven from the Mount of Transfiguration, He would have
gone alone; He would have been nothing more to us than a glorious
Figure. But He turned His back on the glory, and came down from the
Mount to identify Himself with fallen humanity.
The Ascension is the consummation of the Transfiguration. Our Lord
does now go back into His primal glory; but He does not go back
simply as Son of God; He goes back to God as Son of Man as well as
Son of God. There is now freedom of access for anyone straight to the
very throne of God by the Ascension of the Son of Man. As Son of Man
Jesus Christ deliberately limited omnipotence, omnipresence and
omniscience in Himself. Now they are His in absolute full power. As
Son of Man Jesus Christ has all power at the throne of God. He is
King of kings and Lord of lords from the day of His Ascension until
now.

Praying with Paul : "A God of Deliverance"

--\/------------------------------------------------------------------
A GOD OF DELIVERANCE
2 Corinthians 1:3-11
http://www.SearchGodsWord.org/desk/?query=2+Corinthians+1:3-11
Dear Father, great and gentle one,
When I am utterly, unbearably crushed so that I despair of life
itself, when I feel as if I have received the sentence of death,
remind me that I am to rely not on myself but on you, the God who
raises the dead.
It is only you who can deliver from deadly peril. I have set my
hope on you. You deliver me again and again and again. How faithful
you are!
I pray for my many brothers and sisters in Christ throughout the
world, that they will experience relief from suffering, deliverance
from peril, and comfort after grief and despair.
Grant bountiful blessings to your people, my God, in answer to
many prayers. Please receive this one and make it count among the
many others! Thank you, Father. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Spirit.
Jesus has taught to besiege you with constant prayer. Here we are
again, coming in his name. Amen.

WJD! -- Don't Stumble -- Matthew 11:6
-/\/\-----------------------------------------------------------------
\ / WHAT JESUS DID! -- http://www.heartlight.org/
--\/------------------------------------------------------------------

Don't Stumble
"The person that can accept me is blessed."
-- Matthew 11:6 (ERV)
KEY THOUGHT:
John's question to Jesus about his Messiahship helps prepare us for the
road that lies ahead in Matthew's story of Jesus. Jesus will be
repeatedly rejected and criticized for healing activities that follow.
Hostility intensifies between Jesus and the religious powerbrokers of
his day. They reject him. But underneath this repeated pattern is
another pattern of even greater significance. While Jesus continues to
heal and care for the crowds, he intensifies the training of his
disciples. All that he warned them about when he sent them out to
minister now comes true in his own ministry. Clearly Jesus is preparing
them for the dark times ahead while at the same time placing the truth
of God in their hearts to sustain them. For nearly every believer who
honors Jesus as Lord, there will come a time of darkness and struggle.
In those moments of doubt in the Savior's presence and grace, this
statement in today's Scripture should always be a reminder that some
roads the Savior walks, some roads the Savior leads us down, are hard.
Some may even end in a cross, but even then, they also lead us to
glory.
TODAY'S PRAYER:
Most holy and powerful God, through your Spirit please help me
understand the full range of Jesus' ministry. I don't want to conform
Jesus to my desires. I want him to be Lord -- not just on my lips, but
in my heart and soul and mind. In the name of the Lord Jesus I pray.
Amen.

VERSE:
The way of the LORD is a refuge for the righteous, but it is the
ruin of those who do evil.
-- Proverbs 10:29
http://www.SearchGodsWord.org/desk/?query=Proverbs+10:29
THOUGHT:
What is your source of security, hope, and protection? The way
of the Lord is a refuge, a strength, a place of security! Let's
make sure we live our lives there, knowing that God's commands and
demands for righteousness are for our protection as well as his
glory.
PRAYER:
Please, dear LORD, help me more perfectly find your will and
have the courage to build my life there. I don't want to follow
false voices, nor do I want to be tempted away from your truth and
righteousness. May your will not only be my delight, but also my
refuge. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

May 17, 2009
VERSE:
The way of the LORD is strength to the upright: but destruction
shall be to the workers of iniquity.
-- Proverbs 10:29

Amen.
