Crisis Mode
But deal well with me, O Sovereign Lord, for the sake of your own reputation! Rescue me because you are so faithful and good. Psalm 109:21 NIV
If you are a child of God in a crisis situation, and you need God to come through, you can count on one thing being true: HE WILL!
When God's children are at risk, God is busy working the ultimate outcome to our good. Oh, I know, it doesn't always seem that way. In fact sometimes we just can't see how anything good could come from the situation. How could God ever make this FOR my benefit? But, the fact of the matter is, God will deliver you in time. After all, He has every promise in His word riding that fact!
God has already vowed never to leave His children, nor forsake them. He has promised that nothing, neither death nor life, nor present or future, will ever be able to separate us from His love. He has committed to bring His children into His presence, equip us with the power of the Holy Spirit, deliver us from evil, and to never put us to shame! (And I haven't even scratched the surface of promises yet!)
Let me ask you a few questions: What kind of father would I be if I sat by and watched someone physically assault my child? When my son cries, who should be the first to dry his tears? What if I paid no attention to my son when hes hurting? Wouldn't you expect me to respond? I love my child, right? So I would respond!
Well then, how much more perfectly does God love than I do? How much more can I expect my Heavenly Father to respond?
God will deal with you well, not because you are worthy, but because He is Worthy; not because you are good, but because He is Holy; not because you are lovely, but because He is Love! God will come through for the same reason He does everything. He is God!
